Angels' Huston Street could undergo surgery
Los Angeles Angels pitcher Huston Street will receive a second opinion on his ailing right knee and could opt to undergo season-ending surgery.
Street has not seen any improvement in his ailing knee that has forced him to miss the last month. He could opt for surgery, but at this point it is unclear what the exact injury is, as well as how long it would take to recover from surgery. Stay tuned for more news on Street and his timetable.
Street owns an ugly 6.45 ERA and 1.93 WHIP across 22 1/3 innings on 32 appearances this season. His strikeout rate is only 13.33 percent, easily a career low, while his xFIP is sky-high at 5.99.
