Rockies' Charlie Blackmon likely out a few more games

Colorado Rockies manager Walt Weiss said Saturday that he expects outfielder Charlie Blackmon (toe) to miss a couple more starts.

What It Means:

Blackmon has not played since Friday with a bruised right big toe and it sounds like he could be out until sometime in the middle of the week. David Dahl has played the last two days in center field, while Gerardo Parra played left field on Saturday.

Blackmon is having a fantastic season, slashing .321/.382/.540 with a .393 wOBA across 490 plate appearances. He has tacked on 21 homers, 60 RBI's and 15 stolen bases.
