Arizona Diamondbacks center fielder A.J. Pollock (elbow, intercostal) resumed his High-A rehab assignment on Thursday.
The intercostal injury that held him out of a rehab game on Wednesday didn't turn out to be a big deal, and he is still expected to move up to Triple-A on Friday, putting him within two weeks of returning to the Diamondbacks.
Pollock hasn't seen big league action this year, but had a strong showing in 2015, slashing .315/.367/.498 with a .371 wOBA and .182 ISO in 673 plate appearances.
