Cincinnati Reds second baseman Brandon Phillips (knee) will return to the starting lineup as the Reds host the Miami Marlins on Wednesday.
Phillips left Sunday's game with a left knee contusion, and missed two starts wit the injury. He will bat cleanup while starting at second base in his return to the lineup.
The 35-year-old Phillips is slashing .282./319/.403 on the year. He owns a .310 wOBA and .121 ISO through 440 plate appearances.
