Jung Ho Kang hits go-ahead home run as Pirates top Giants
Pittsburgh Pirates infielder Jung Ho Kant blasted a solo home run in the eighth inning on Tuesday, giving the Pirates the lead as they went on to top the San Francisco Giants 4-3.
What It Means:
The game was tied 3-3 when Kang blasted his solo shot in the bottom of the eighth, and the Pirates carried that lead through the rest of the game.
Kang has looked good from the dish this year, slashing .239/.324/.483 with a .345 wOBA and .243 ISO through 262 plate appearances.
