Logan Forsythe (back) remains sidelined for Tampa Bay

Tampa Bay Rays second baseman Logan Forsythe (back) remains out of the starting lineup Wednesday versus the San Diego Padres.

What It Means:

Forsythe continues to be bothered by back spasms, which caused him to be a late scratch on Tuesday. Nick Franklin is hitting leadoff and starting at second for the Rays.

Forsythe is having a solid year, slashing .280/.341/.476 with 15 home runs, six stolen bases and a .350 wOBA in 393 plate appearances. We currently project him to hit five more taters and post a .803 OPS over the remaining course of the season.
