New York Mets infielder Neil Walker was scratched from the lineup Tuesday due to lower back stiffness.
Consider Walker day-to-day. Kelly Johnson will start at second for the Mets, with T.J. Rivera manning the hot corner.
Walker has posted a .346 wOBA and .191 ISO with a .279/.341/.470 slash in 440 plate appearances this season. His 22 home runs are one short of matching the career-high he set in 2014 with the Pittsburgh Pirates.
