Miami Marlins are interested in Alex Rodriguez
The Miami Marlins are considering signing free agent slugger Alex Rodriguez, per Joe Frisaro of MLB.com.
The 41-year-old Rodriguez has been released by the New York Yankees, and the Marlins have already been rumored to be a potential landing spot if the veteran does want to continue playing in the majors.
Rodriguez may not have much left to offer from the plate though, and he's slashing only .200/.247/.351 with a .258 wOBA, his lowest since his rookie year, through 243 plate appearances on the season.
