Marlins set to put Adam Conley on disabled list

The Miami Marlins will place starting pitcher Adam Conley on the disabled list according to Andy Slater of 940-AM WINZ.

What It Means:

Conley hurt his finger celebrating a Jeff Mathis home run on August third and since then he has given up 11 earned runs across two starts. It's bad luck for the lefty who has been having a great season, but the good news is Miami doesn't expect him to miss any more than the 15 days.

Conley has a 3.94 ERA and a 21.30 strikeout rate over 130 1/3 innings in 2016. He also has a very good nERD of 2.34.
