Pittsburgh Pirates catcher Francisco Cervelli left the game against the San Diego Padres on Wednesday with discomfort in his left wrist.
Cervelli missed time when he broke his left hand earlier in the season, so it causes some concern that he was struggling with that left wrist during the game. There still haven't been updates on how serious this wrist injury is.
Cervelli has struggled a bit this year, hitting .263/.371/.302 through 248 plate appearances, with a .309 wOBA that marks the second-lowest of his career.
