Mariners option Guillermo Heredia back to Triple-A Tacoma
The Seattle Mariners have optioned outfielder Guillermo Heredia to Triple-A Tacoma.
What It Means:
Heredia was called up on July 29, but is being sent back down to make room for bullpen depth after the Mariners played 15 innings on Tuesday.
Hererdia only saw 29 plate appearances with the Mariners, but looked good, recording seven hits, including a home run, scoring four runs and driving in three RBI's.
