Astros' Jose Altuve not in Monday's lineup versus Twins
Houston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve is not in Monday's lineup against the Minnesota Twins.
The reason for Altuve's absence on Monday isn't yet known. He'll end a streak of appearing in 202 consecutive games. Marwin Gonzalez -- and his .303 wOBA this season -- will replace Altuve at second base and hit sixth.
Altuve is having a monster season, slashing .356/.423/.567 with 19 home runs, 25 stolen bases, a .415 wOBA (third-best) and the best nERD at 4.38. We project him to hit .311/.373/.489 with six taters, nine steals and a .371 wOBA over the rest of the year.
