Bryce Harper not in Nationals' Sunday lineup
Washington Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper (neck) is absent from the starting lineup Sunday against the San Francisco Giants.
Harper was forced to exit Saturday's game with a sore neck and it appears he isn't well enough to start on Sunday. The Nationals have a day off on Monday, so there is a chance the team is just trying to get him some extra rest heading into the stretch run. Chris Heisey is starting in right field and batting seventh against Madison Bumgarner Sunday.
Harper is posting a .335 wOBA with just a .233/.374/.438 slash line over 449 plate appearances. He has 20 homers and 57 RBI's and our models project him to have an improved .365 wOBA with nine homers and 28 RBI's remaining this season.
