Rockies' Daniel Descalso (shoulder) back in action
Colorado Rockies utility man Daniel Descalso (shoulder) is back in the starting lineup Friday against the Miami Marlins.
Descalso left Thursday's contest early with a bruised shoulder, but he's good-to-go Friday. He'll start at shortstop and hit seventh. Descalso owns an impressive .315/.417/.423 slash this season, but it comes in just 132 plate appearances.
Descalso has an outstanding walk percentage (15.15) this season to go with two home runs and a .368 wOBA. We project him to hit .232/.338/.321 with a .300 wOBA over the rest of the year.
