Los Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout is getting the night off Thursday against the Oakland Athletics.
Shane Robinson -- and his weak .267 wOBA this season -- will man center field and hit ninth on Thursday. This looks to be a simple day of rest for Trout, who is slashing .318/.430/.543 in 461 plate appearances this season.
Trout is having his typical dominant season, posting a .411 wOBA (sixth-best), hitting 19 home runs, stealing 17 bases and owning a 4.08 nERD (third-best). We project the soon-to-be 25 year-old to hit .295/.400/.523 with 10 taters, six steals and a .393 wOBA over the rest of the year.
