X-rays came back negative on Chicago White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson's left hand.
He escaped with a bruise after taking a pitch from Detroit Tigers starting pitcher Jordan Zimmermann off his hand in the first inning Thursday afternoon in Detroit. Anderson is day-to-day with a bruise. Tyler Saladino took over at shortstop with Carlos Sanchez entering to play second base.
