Sam Dyson will remain Rangers' closer
Texas Rangers pitcher Sam Dyson will remain the team's closer following the acquisition of Jeremy Jeffress, general manager Jon Daniels stated on Monday.
What It Means:
Dyson has converted on 22 of 24 save opportunities this season, so he deserves the role. Jeffress can now be safely dropped in the majority of mixed fantasy leagues.
Dyson owns a 2.42 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 18.23 strikeout percentage across 48 1/3 innings on the year.
