David Peralta activated from disabled list for Diamondbacks
Arizona Diamondbacks activated outfielder David Peralta from the 15-day disabled list.
A lower back sprain kept Peralta on the disabled list for five and a half weeks, but he's now good-to-go after playing in some rehab games. After slashing .312/.371/.522 in 149 games last season, he's hitting a disappointing .259/.308/.442 with four home runs in 159 plate appearances this season.
Peralta's wOBA has also fallen from .380 in 2015 to .318 this season, while his walk percentage has dropped and his strikeout percentage has increased. We project him to hit .255/.299/.409 with four taters and a .309 wOBA over the rest of the year.
