Reynaldo Lopez most likely to start for Nationals Saturday
Washington Nationals pitcher Reynaldo Lopez is considered the most likely to start on Saturday versus the San Francisco Giants.
Triple-A prospect Lucas Giolito is also an option, although he can't be recalled unless he replaces an injured player. Lopez struck out nine over 4 2/3 innings in his major league debut earlier this month, but also allowed six runs on 10 hits. He'd be a risky streaming option.
Lopez has pitched 20 innings at Triple-A this season, compiling a 1.87 ERA (3.87 FIP), as well as a 20.51 percent strikeout rate and 7.69 percent walk rate.
