Yoenis Cespedes out for Mets Thursday due to quad flareup
New York Mets outfielder Yoenis Cespedes is out of the lineup Thursday because he had a flareup with his quad.
As a result, the Mets will take on the Colorado Rockies on Thursday afternoon with Juan Lagares in center and Alejandro De Aza manning left. A quad strain also forced Cespedes to miss action earlier this month and he should be considered day-to-day for now.
Cespedes owns a .390 wOBA with 22 homers and 58 RBI's over 362 plate appearances this season. Our models currently project him to post a .376 wOBA with 11 taters and 34 RBI's over the remaining course of the year.
