Pittsburgh Pirates third baseman Ke'Bryan Hayes (back) is starting in Friday's lineup against the Boston Red Sox.
After Hayes was a late scratch on Tuesday with lower back tightness, the 27-year old will return while Jared Triolo was moved to second and Alika Williams was benched.
