Toronto Blue Jays catcher Alejandro Kirk is not in the lineup on Tuesday against left-hander Carlos Rodon and the New York Yankees.
Danny Jansen (wrist) will make his season debut on Tuesday, so Kirk is expected to be relegated to backup duty moving forward. Jansen will catch for Yusei Kikuchi and bat sixth against Rodon.
