Texas Rangers third baseman Joey Gallo hit his first home run of the season on Tuesday as Texas fell to the Oakland Athletics 6-3.
It only took two games for Gallo to go yard, as he crushed a fifth-inning one-out offering from Sonny Gray to opposite field.
Gallo has flexed some serious power during his short time in the majors, hitting .204/.297/.434 with a .230 ISO in 128 plate appearances. The 22-year-old also owns a 48.10 percent hard-hit rate, as well as an ugly 46.10 percent strikeout rate.
