Lucas Harrell deals six shutout innings for Braves
Atlanta Braves pitcher Lucas Harrell threw six shutout innings on Tuesday as the Braves topped the Minnesota Twins 2-0.
What It Means:
It was an uncharacteristically good start for Harrell, and the last time he had a scoreless start of at least six innings was in 2013.
Harrell has an ugly 4.98 SIERA on the season, which is actually slight improvement from the 5.16 and 5.12 he posted in his past two major league seasons. We project him for a 4.27 ERA, a 14.29 percent strikeout rate and an 10.99 percent walk rate over the remainder of the season.
