Brandon Belt moved down to sixth in Giants' lineup

San Francisco Giants first baseman Brandon Belt is hitting sixth in the lineup for Monday's game against the Cincinnati Reds.

What It Means:

Belt has been struggling over the last month, hitting only .185 in July over 65 at bats, so the typical third hole hitter will be move down three spots to the sixth. Jarrett Parker is hitting third against Anthony DeSclafani on Monday night.

Even after struggling over the last month, Belt owns a .365 wOBA and a .278/.384/.476 slash line over 401 appearances at the plate this year. He has 10 homers, 47 RBI's and 46 runs scored and our models project him to post a .361 wOBA with 11 homers and 35 RBI's left this season.
