The Tampa Bay Rays will start rookie Austin Shenton at first base for Sunday's game against the Colorado Rockies.
Shenton will bat seventh and cover first base Sunday while Yandy Diaz takes a turn at designated hitter, Harold Ramirez steps up into right field, Richie Palacios shifts to left field, and Randy Arozarena takes the afternoon off.
Shenton will look for his first career hit in this afternoon's tilt with the Rockies.
