Houston Astros prospect Alex Bregman is starting at third base and batting sixth Monday against the New York Yankees in his big league debut.
Bregman, 22 years-old, has looked every bit the part of a top prospect, slashing .306/.406/.580 with seven stolen bases, 20 home runs and 61 RBI's across 80 games played between Double-A and Triple-A this season. Bregman is expected to see regular playing time for Houston between third base and left field, meaning he should be added in all standard fantasy leagues.
Bregman posted a .429 wOBA and a .263 ISO in 285 plate appearances at Double-A this season, earning the promotion to Triple-A. It's a smaller sample size (83 plate appearances), but he improved his wOBA to .433 and his ISO to .308 at the Triple-A level.
