Atlanta Braves starting pitcher Julio Teheran was pulled from Friday's start against the Colorado Rockies in the fifth inning due to an apparent injury.
Teheran was pulled after trying to field a ground ball and he may have pulled something. The team should release an update on the right-hander soon, but this could hamper his trade value if the injury is serious enough for a disabled list stint.
Teheran is posting an impressive 2.71 ERA and 0.96 WHIP across 129 2/3 innings this season. He owns a 22.55 strikeout rate, however, his xFIP of 4.03 is the third highest mark of his career.
