Brett Lawrie will undergo MRI Friday in Chicago

Chicago White Sox second baseman Brett Lawrie (hamstring) will undergo an MRI Friday.

What It Means:

Lawrie experienced tightness in his left hamstring on Thursday and was forced to leave the game. Hopefully more information will be available after the MRI, but on Friday Tyler Saladino is starting at second base and batting eighth against the Tigers and Michael Fulmer.

Lawrie is slashing .248/.310/.413 with a .315 wOBA over 384 plate appearances this season. He has 12 homers, 36 RBI's and 7 steals on the year with a nERD of -0.17.
