Cleveland's Michael Brantley undergoes surgery to remove scar tissue
Cleveland Indians outfielder Michael Brantley underwent surgery on Friday to remove scar tissue from his right biceps.
What It Means:
Brantley has been having issues with his shoulder since his surgery in October, and has been out of action since May 9.
Brantley started this season with an ugly .231/.279/.282 slash and a .238 wOBA, hugely uncharacteristic for the career .292 hitter.
