The Oakland Athletics optioned Esteury Ruiz to Triple-A.
Brent Rooker will join the A's lineup against the Red Sox tonight to take over Ruiz's spot. The speedy outfielder has yet to catch on in the Majors, even after leading the American League in steals in 2023 with 67.
Rooker has a $2,700 salary on FanDuel and is projected to score 9.1 FanDuel points against Boston.
