The Seattle Mariners did not include Seby Zavala in their lineup for Monday's game against the Cleveland Guardians.
Zavala will move to the bench while starting catcher Cal Raleigh takes over behind the dish and bats sixth.
Zavala did not log a hit in his first 3 plate appearances this season but should keep getting chances as long as Seattle keeps Mitch Garver at designated hitter, not catcher.
