The Baltimore Orioles will start Ryan O'Hearn at designated hitter for Monday's game against the Kansas City Royals.
O'Hearn will bat fifth as the Orioles' DH on Monday as Adley Rutschman resumes catching duties. James McCann will take a seat.
O'Hearn is batting .286 through his first 7 plate appearances this season and will have a chance to put up solid stats against his former team this afternoon. Royals pitcher allowed a 3.24 ERA in 2023 and will be making his first start of the year.
