Houston Astros outfielder Jake Meyers is starting in center field and hitting ninth against left-hander Nestor Cortes and the New York Yankees on Opening Day.
Meyers recently dealt with a hand injury, but he's good to go. The 27-year-old is expected to be the primary center fielder for Houston this season.
Meyers has a $2,400 salary on the Opening Day Main slate and numberFire's models project him for 8.9 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Astros have the third-highest implied total (4.59) on the Main slate.
