Curt Casali proving his worth in Tampa
With starting catcher, Rene Rivera, struggling for the Rays, Curt Casali is making the most of his starts as Rivera's replacement. He went 3-for-4 with two home runs, two runs scored and three runs batted in as the Rays beat up on the Tigers 10-2. He now has four round-trippers in the past two games.
With tonight's performance, Casali now has a slash line of .300/.345/.780 and a wOBA of .466 and has probably earned a few more starts down the road.
