Dodgers' Corey Seager out Tuesday
Los Angeles Dodgers shortstop Corey Seager is getting the day off Tuesday against the Washington Nationals.
Seager went 3-for-5 with three doubles during Sunday's series finale against the Arizona Diamondbacks, but he'll get a day off in Tuesday's series opener versus the Washington Nationals. Chris Taylor (.406 wOBA in 30 plate appearances) will replace Seager at shortstop.
Seager is having an impressive season, slashing .301/.360/.528 with 17 home runs and a .374 wOBA in 406 plate appearances. Our models project him to hit .295/.364/.492 with 10 taters and a .365 wOBA over the rest of the season.
