New York Yankees first baseman Mark Teixeira (foot) is absent from the team's lineup again Tuesday versus the Baltimore Orioles.
Teixeira fouled a ball off his foot on Friday and continues to feel some level of discomfort. It's possible he'll sit out the entire series against the Orioles. Rob Refsnyder -- he of the stunningly poor .299 wOBA -- will continue to fill in at first base for now.
Believe it or not, Teixeira's .258 wOBA is even worse. He's slashing just .186/.263/.305 with seven home runs in 251 plate appearances on the year. Our models project him to hit .215/.298/.367 with six home runs and a .291 wOBA over the rest of the season.
