Boston Red Sox infielder Vaughn Grissom (groin) could miss the start of the season.
Grissom, who was traded from the Atlanta Braves to the Red Sox this offseason, is dealing with a groin strain. He is expected to open the season on the injured list.
In 80 plate appearances last season Grissom recorded a 0.280 average and 0.659 OPS with 5 runs and 9 RBI.
