Jose Reyes not to start for the Rockies tonight
Like his counterpart, Troy Tulowitzki, Jose Reyes will not start on his new team tonight. Instead, back up, Daniel Descalso, will field shortstop for the Colorado Rockies batting eighth.
Through 63 games this season, Descalso has struggled carrying a disappointing slash line of .209/.260/.330 with a .241 wOBA and a -0.83 nERD, which ranks second worst on the Rockies. He'll face Cubs righty, Dallas Beeler, tonight, who has yet to take a decision while brandishing a 6.43 ERA in two starts this year.
