Shin-Soo Choo not in Rangers' lineup Saturday
Texas Rangers outfielder Shin-Soo Choo (back) remains out of the starting lineup on Saturday against the Chicago Cubs.
What It Means:
Choo has been battling lower back issues recently, and he is still not right even after four days off due to the All Star Break. Ryan Rua is starting in right field and batting fifth for the Rangers against Jason Hammel on Saturday.
Choo has hit well when he's been on the field this season, slashing .274/.388/.496 with seven home runs, four stolen bases and a .385 wOBA in 137 plate appearances. Our models project him to hit .250/.347/.435 with five home runs, three steals and a .342 wOBA over the rest of the year.
