Adam LaRoche remains out of lineup Tuesday
Adam LaRoche remains out of the White Sox lineup for the second straight game. The switch hitting Emilio Bonifacio will DH and bat eighth against the Red Sox tonight.
This appears to be an extended rest for LaRoche. He is producing just a .294 wOBA and a -0.47 nERD which puts him well below a league-average batter this season, although our projections say he’ll put up a .326 wOBA the rest of the way. Bonifacio has a painful slash line of .160/.192/.173 and a .144 wOBA in 79 plate appearances. With second baseman eligibility in daily fantasy, our algorithm projects Bonifacio to rank second to last tonight at the position.
