Miguel Gonzalez spins seven shutout innings in White Sox win
Chicago White Sox pitcher Miguel Gonzalez looked great over seven innings against the New York Yankees on Wednesday, giving up five hits, one walk and no runs in the affair.
This was only the second win in 12 starts this year for Gonzalez, and it was the only start this year that didn't see him give up at least one run.
His 4.90 SIERA on the season is a career-worst, and he ranks 127th in the majors with a 1.59 nERD. We project him for a 4.74 ERA and 15.6 percent strikeout rate over the remainder of the season.
