Detroit Tigers third baseman Nick Castellanos was scratched from the Tigers starting lineup on Tuesday due to flu-like symptoms.
Castellanos isn't feeling too hot, so he will be replaced by Mike Aviles at the hot corner. Aviles will bat seventh versus Carlos Carrasco and the Cleveland Indians.
Castellanos has posted a .369 wOBA with 15 home runs and 45 RBI's in 333 plate appearances this season. He currently ranks 41st in the big leagues with a 1.90 nERD.
