Mark Teixeira, Alex Rodriguez absent from Yankees' lineup Monday
New York Yankees first baseman Mark Teixeira and designated hitter Alex Rodriguez are absent from the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Chicago White Sox.
Rob Refsnyder will fill in for Teixeira at first base and bat ninth, while Carlos Beltran will be the designated hitter and bat third.
Beltran's .381 wOBA is the best among Yankees' with at least 50 plate appearances this season, while Teixeira and Rodriguez have the two lowest marks in that category.
