Giants' Machi to return from disabled list
Giants reliever Jean Machi is set to return from the disabled list and go back to the bullpen after the Giants optioned Michael Broadway to Triple-A.
What It Means:
The 33-year-old Machi has not pitched to much success this season when he's been healthy, with a 5.47 ERA and 4.63 xFIP. However, he's been a valuable asset to the Giants in past years, so his return should be welcomed by the Giants.
