Minnesota Twins right fielder/third baseman Miguel Sano (hamstring) has completed his rehab assignment and is on his way back to Minnesota, reports Derek Wetmore of 1500ESPN.com.
The Twins haven't stated whether he will be activated on Friday or Saturday after Sano played in a doubleheader for Triple-A Rochester on Thursday. Nevertheless, he felt fine after the two games and will be back for Minnesota at some point this weekend.
Sano is slashing .235/.341/.458 with 11 homers and 27 RBI's this season in 211 plate appearances. He's posted a .348 wOBA and currently ranks just outside of the top-100 with a 0.73 nERD.
