Yunel Escobar (knee) remains out of Angels' lineup
Los Angeles Angels infielder Yunel Escobar (knee) remains out of the Angels' lineup for Wednesday's game against the Houston Astros.
According to Los Angeles skipper Mike Scioscia, Escobar will be sidelined until at least Friday. If he's not good to go Friday, he may be headed to the disabled list. Jefry Marte will continue to fill in at third.
Escobar is slashing a solid .310/.359/.409 with three home runs and a .337 wOBA in 297 plate appearances this season. Our models currently project him to hit .288/.348/.382 with two home runs and a .321 wOBA over the remainder of the year.
