Texas Rangers outfielder Nomar Mazara is not in the lineup against the New York Yankees.
With left-hander CC Sabathia on the mound, Mazara will head to the bench. Ryan Rua will fill in at left field, while Shin-Soo Choo is slotted in right.
Mazara, the 21 year-old rookie sensation, has cooled off since his hot start, but is still slashing .286/.339/.435 with 11 home runs and a .334 wOBA in 292 plate appearances this season.
