Tampa Bay Rays infielder Yandy Diaz will start on first base and bat leadoff in Game 1 of the Wild Card Series against left-hander Jordan Montgomery and the Texas Rangers.
Diaz is good to go after dealing with a hamstring issue over the final week of the season. He strictly worked out of the leadoff spot this season and posted a 1.101 OPS against lefties.
