Cincinnati Reds infielder Spencer Steer is not in the lineup Sunday in the team's game against the St. Louis Cardinals.
Steer is being replaced at first base by Joey Votto versus Cardinals starter Miles Mikolas. Tyler Stephenson and TJ Friedl are also exiting the lineup.
In 665 plate appearances this season, Steer has a .271 batting average with an .820 OPS, 23 home runs, 74 runs, 86 RBI and 15 stolen bases.
